The star of YaMe’s menu is unquestionably their rich, slow-cooked Yame Beef Noodle Soup, which features tender noodles swimming in a spicy beef broth enhanced with bok choy, green onions, and tangy Chinese pickles. This dish alone exemplifies the restaurant’s mastery of balancing deep, savory flavors with subtle spice. Equally enticing is the Shrimp Udon Noodle Soup—a light yet hearty bowl filled with thick udon noodles, crisp vegetables, and a clear, flavorful broth that’s both soothing and satisfying.

For those craving variety, the menu showcases an impressive selection of dishes such as the richly spiced Curry Noodle Soup with chicken and shrimp in a velvety coconut curry broth, or the vibrant Pad Thai with Shrimp, which customer Linda Linda describes as “delicious” and truly worth making a special trip for. The Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken are also crowd-pleasers, cooked to crispy perfection and coated in sauces that carry the perfect balance of sweet and savory notes.

Don’t overlook the tempting appetizers like the Scallion Pancakes, Pot Stickers, and Shanghai Soup Dumplings. These dishes have earned praise for their generous portions and authentic textures, making every bite a flavorful experience. Keila M. Poindexter raves about the sesame chicken paired with fried rice and spring rolls, all scoring a perfect 10 out of 10 in her book—the ginger dressing accompanying the salad was so remarkable she joked about drinking it straight out of a cup.

YaMe Asian Noodles excels not only in taste but also in atmosphere and service. Customers consistently highlight the friendly, attentive team and spotless environment, which combine to create a welcoming ambiance whether you’re dropping in for a quick lunch or settling down for dinner with friends. Pictures don't even do justice to how good this food is. The best ginger dressing I've ever had - It's so good, I could drink it straight out of a cup. Everything I had is a 10 out of 10 - sesame chicken with fried rice, chicken lo mein, and spring rolls. Customer service is excellent and the restaurant is clean. Highly recommended if you are in the Charlotte area.

I am typing as i eat. 5 stars and more is what i would have rated. A flight Attendant recommended this place and sang praises about it so i drove almost 30 mins to this place and was not disappointed.I ordered the Pad Thai, its DELICIOUS, the ginger salad followed suit, then i crowned my order by ordering the Bubba tea, choose thai tea with tapioca and passion pop,That drink was consumed before i could even get home and wished i ordered two. This review comes from my heart about my own personal experience. Ihave found my favorite restaurant and will return soon, the drive is worth it. OH and its an Asian woman who prepared the thai tea, so i knew its going to be even great. (Not that others dont know how to prepare it) Portion is great, enough left over though ita too delicious to have it left over . I highly recommend this place, i didnt take pics of the food because it was to go n started eating soonest i sat dow. Also its a nice place to go out and meet, chat, its really clean, inviting, calming. lol

Great menu selection. Very nice inside with a surprising amount of seating. Service was quick and the food was hot and fresh. Very tasty General Tso chicken and potstickers. Good size portions. Order in line, grab a table finder and server will deliver. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Parking is limited. Bathrooms clean.

The udon noodles and shrimp Pad Thai were great! I was curious to try some other menu items as I really enjoy flavorful noodles. Will be back here again.

Has been great for dine in and takeout! Dining in, you order at the counter and they bring it to you, quick and easy. Takeout was ready on time, and tasted great at home. Portion sizes are great, will easily get 2+ meals out of my order. The side portion of plain lo mein is the best deal!!

Every time we walk into YaMe we are greeted by friendly staff. My husband&I try something different from the menu each visit and nothing has ever disappointed or come off as "just OK". Our daughter, on the other hand, gets the lo mein with chicken every visit, it is also consistently great. We normally dine in, the atmosphere is very chill, the tables spaced comfortably from others, there's private little nooks, open space tables and high top bar style seating areas as well. You bus your dishes/ trash on your way out & the area is always tidy & clean, they don't let bowls & dishes pile up. It's our daughter's favorite place to go, so we started going there every month or so, but it's also become one of my favorite chill yet delicious restaurants in the Charlotte area. Their take out service is also just as solid as dine in. I'd have photos but we always end up eating everything before I think of it.

I found this place while searching online for a place to get dinner. I was thinking of ramen and came across this place. The menu looked intriguing so I figured I would try it out. I got the wonton soup and the Singapore noodles with chicken. The wonton soup had dumplings with a thin noodle and a very nice filling. I guess a Japanese spin on wonton soup was the seaweed as well as the scallions in the broth. The Singapore noodles were good as well with plenty of egg and chicken in them. I requested them without the bell pepper and it was served as requested. Just understand that this is not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter and take your drink and a electronic buzzer to your table. When your food is ready it is brought to your table. Additionally you're expected to bus your own table and take your dirty dishes and trash to a station near the door. Overall I really enjoyed my food it was tasty portions were very nice. I will definitely be back to try some other things on their menu especially the ramen since I did not get it at this visit. Prices were reasonable portions were good size therefore a good value. Kind of a hidden gem in the Montfort area. Give them a try!

I got the ramen noodle soup and it was very good. Food came extremely fast and hot! I personally don't love bokchoy in ramen but I wanted to give it a chance. Would love to come back and try something different on the menu. I also had the tiger milk tea with boba and it was delicious. Very sweet and perfectly chewy boba.
